Alfred Hitchcock Fans Online was a co-operation between two web development companies, Chill Entertainment and BeatOwner Entertainment. This project was officially started on August 10, 2006 and the first beta design hit the web two days later. (You can imagine how fun those two days were.) Dedicated to building the biggest and best Alfred Hitchcock Fansite on the Interweb, we have created a site with a vast wealth of information about the director and his films!

Chill Entertainment's Alex Haas and BeatOwner Entertainment's Teddy Blass needed to come up with a design for this website that will not only catch the eye of the modern websurfer, but to fit perfectly with the style of Alfred Hitchcock and his films. Finally, a beta design emerged. Actually, no changes were made to the beta design and it was finally made official. The only design change to the entire website ever was to add the rollovers to the navigation bar.

The black and white design is perfect for HitchFans. Most of his films are black and white, so the historic and retro feel of Hitchcock's films exists at his fansite.

The Future

Currently, Alex and Teddy are beginning work on AFHO2, named Project: Resurrection, our aim will be to redesign the entire website and to hand-code to be completely 100% W3C-valid XHTML / CSS. One of the project's many goals will be to shatter the Alexa PageRank 100,000 mark and finally enter the Internet's Top 100,000 websites.
